Bike Tour of Iguazú National Park
This bike tour starts with a pickup from your hotel in Puerto Iguazú, followed by transportation to the Iguazú National Park in Misiones, Argentina. Upon arrival, the tour begins at the Gendarmerie post on National Route 101, which leads through the jungle to Comandante Andresito.
The initial cycling section is 1.2 miles (2 km) long, where participants can observe native butterfly species, various birds like toucans, and mammals such as the tapir. Following this, the route continues 1.8 miles (3 km) to the shore of the Iguazú River, providing panoramic views of the surrounding green landscape, although the famous waterfalls are not visible from this point.
Another break will be taken to allow participants to rest and enjoy food brought from home, while taking in the lush jungle scenery along the Iguazú River. The tour concludes with a return ride to the Gendarmerie post, followed by transportation back to your hotel, with a total duration of approximately 4 hours from pickup.
