Do you have official diving certification and want to explore the seabed of Puerto Lopez? Stingrays, sea turtles, moray eels, hundreds of fish and many other species of aquatic fauna await you in this area of Ecuador!

Diving in Puerto López

At 8 am we'll meet at the Piedra del Mar hotel, where you can try on your wetsuit before starting the aquatic adventure. Afterwards, we'll walk to the beach of Puerto Lopez and board a boat that will take us across the waters of Salango Cove. The fun begins!

While we sail, we'll assist you in getting all the diving equipment and explain the safety rules to be respected during the activity.

We'll conduct a total of two dives, each lasting approximately 45 minutes. You'll enjoy the beauty of the seabed and swimming with huge manta rays. During the dives, we'll also observe sea turtles, moray eels, anemones, fish and other aquatic flora and fauna.

We'll conclude the activity at 5 pm, arriving at the starting point.

Necessary Documentation

To participate in this diving trip, it's necessary to have the International Open Water certificate or similar certifying you are prepared for this activity.
