Isla de la Plata Excursion

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the dock of Puerto Lopez, where we'll board a boat. After sailing for about 2 hours, we'll arrive at Isla de la Plata, located in the Machalilla National Park.

This protected area is one of the most extensive along the coast and comprises two areas: one terrestrial and one marine. It is home to the only coral reefs in Ecuador.

Throughout the trip, we'll listen to explanations from a local guide while admiring the landscape, including sea birds, rock formations, cliffs, and more. Upon arriving on land, we'll stroll to observe the endemic fauna and flora of this island, also known as the Little Galapagos.

At the end of the walk, we'll have a picnic lunch that includes a sandwich, two seasonal fruits, mineral water, and soda. After lunch, we'll move to an ideal spot for snorkeling. Thanks to its crystalline waters, we will see numerous coral reefs and marine species!

We'll conclude the excursion by returning to the dock of Puerto Lopez, arriving 9 hours after setting sail.
