Los Frailes Beach Tour

At 9 am, we will meet at the Hotel Piedra del Mar in Puerto Lopez for a trip to Machalilla National Park and its stunning beach, Los Frailes. During the journey, interesting facts about the park will be shared. This protected area preserves the last dry forest reserves and features the relaxing beach of Los Frailes, which boasts white sand and calm waters.

You will have about three hours of free time to engage in activities such as swimming, walking along trails, or exploring the forest and its viewpoints.

The excursion concludes with the return to your hotel in Puerto Lopez at 1 pm.

Los Frailes Beach + Agua Blanca Community Tour

For a more comprehensive experience, you can choose the option that includes a visit to the Agua Blanca community alongside Los Frailes beach. This itinerary follows the same schedule until 1 pm, after which we will head to the indigenous population within Machalilla National Park.

There, with a guide, you will visit the Agua Blanca museum to view artifacts from the Manteña, Huancavilca, and other civilizations predating the Incas. Following this, we will walk through the dry forest to a sulphurous water lagoon for a therapeutic dip before returning to Puerto López at 3 pm.
