Spend a day in connection with nature in the Ecuadorian province of Manabí on this excursion to the San Sebastián rainforest. We'll see toucans, howler monkeys, and the most exuberant flora.

San Sebastián Rainforest Excursion

After picking you up at the indicated time at the meeting point in Puerto López or Montañita, we'll begin this excursion to the San Sebastián rainforest. We will travel to Río Blanco, where we will start a 3.5-hour hike through the San Sebastián rainforest.

During the hike, we'll observe various birds and the flora within Machalilla National Park, resembling the Amazon rainforest. This area is an important site of biological regeneration in the Choco-Manabi Binational Corridor.

Keep an eye out for howler monkeys, guans, guantas, deer, and various insects. The San Sebastián rainforest hosts more than 150 endemic species.

At approximately 1:45 pm, we will take a break for a delicious lunch consisting of a starter, main course, and drink.

We will conclude the excursion by returning to the meeting point, with arrival scheduled between six and eight hours later, depending on your tour's end location.
