San Sebastián Rainforest Excursion

Spend a day in connection with nature in the Ecuadorian province of Manabí on this excursion to the San Sebastián rainforest. We'll see toucans, howler monkeys, and the most exuberant flora.

San Sebastián Rainforest Excursion

After picking you up at the indicated time at the meeting point in Puerto López or Montañita, we'll begin this excursion to the San Sebastián rainforest. We'll travel to Río Blanco, where we start a 3.5-hour hike through the San Sebastián rainforest.

During the hike, we'll observe various bird species and unique flora in Machalilla National Park, similar to the Amazon rainforest. This area is noted for being a site of biological regeneration within the Choco-Manabi Binational Corridor.

Watch for howler monkeys, guans, guantas, deer, and many insects. The rainforest hosts more than 150 endemic flora species.

Around 1:45 pm, we'll take a break for a delicious lunch including a starter, a main course, and a drink.

After the hike, we'll return you to the meeting point, with an arrival scheduled between six and eight hours later, depending on the tour's conclusion.
