San Sebastián Rainforest Excursion

After picking you up at the meeting point in Puerto López or Montañita, we'll start the excursion to the San Sebastián rainforest. We'll travel by vehicle to Río Blanco, where we begin a 3.5-hour hike through the rainforest.

During the hike, we will observe various birds and unique flora in Machalilla National Park, similar to the Amazon rainforest and an important site of biological regeneration within the Choco-Manabi Binational Corridor.

Be alert for sightings of howler monkeys, guans, guantas, deer, and numerous insects. The San Sebastián rainforest hosts more than 150 endemic species.

At around 1:45 pm, we will take a break for a delicious lunch, which includes a starter, a main course, and a drink.

The excursion concludes with our return to the meeting point, with arrival scheduled between six and eight hours later, depending on your tour's end location.
