Spend a day in connection with nature in the Ecuadorian province of Manabí on this excursion to the San Sebastián rainforest. We'll see toucans, howler monkeys, and the most exuberant flora.

San Sebastián Rainforest Excursion

After picking you up at the indicated time at the meeting point in Puerto López or Montañita, we'll begin this excursion to the San Sebastián ?rainforest. Ready to enter a unique natural landscape in the Ecuadorian province of Manabí?

We'll travel to Río Blanco, where we begin a 3.5-hour hike through the San Sebastián rainforest.

Throughout the hike, we'll observe various bird species and the flora characteristic of Machalilla National Park, similar to the Amazon rainforest. This site is also an important area for biological regeneration within the Choco-Manabi Binational Corridor.

During the hike, keep an eye out for howler monkeys, guans, guantas, deer, and a variety of insects, as well as over 150 endemic plant species.

A lunch break will be provided at around 1:45 pm, featuring a starter, a main course, and a drink.

The excursion concludes with our return to the meeting point, with an expected arrival between six to eight hours later, depending on your starting location.
