Estancia San Lorenzo Trip and Whale Watching

At 7:15 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Puerto Madryn and head to Peninsula Valdes. There, we will take a tour by truck to the San Lorenzo estancia, known for its colony of Magellanic penguins.

We will learn about the behavior, diet, and characteristics of these animals as we trek through the penguin colony accompanied by our guide. Following the trek, you will have one hour for lunch at the estancia.

Post-lunch, we will continue by truck through the Valdés Peninsula in the Punta Norte area. This location is good for spotting Atlantic orcas, though sightings cannot be guaranteed. The route proceeds to Puerto Piramides, where you will have two hours for a snack or a walk.

During your free time, you can opt for a boat ride at sunset to watch southern whales. This is an ideal time for viewings, as the whales approach the coast looking for food when sunset occurs.

After the free time, we will reconvene in Puerto Pirámides for the return to Puerto Madryn, with a scheduled arrival at your hotel by 7:15 pm.
