If you're looking to explore the scenic beauty of Puerto Madryn in an engaging way, this 4x4 adventure is the ideal choice. Our journey takes us from Punta de Cuevas to the lively sea lion colony and beyond!

Description

At the designated time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn to kick off this exciting 4x4 adventure. Are you ready for an unforgettable experience? Let’s begin!

Our first destination is the historic area of Punta Cuevas, also known as Curva del Indio, where the early Welsh settlers established their community in Argentina during the 19th century. Here, we will delve into the rich history of their arrival and its significant impact on the region.

Next, we will venture into the Punta Loma Reserve, a protected natural area. We will stop three times on the outskirts, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking scenery and enjoy views of the ocean. Stay alert, as we may even catch a glimpse of sea lions!

Our journey continues at Paraná Beach, where we will have an excellent vantage point to view the remains of the Folías Ship. Did you know this fishing vessel met its demise on the beaches here on December 27, 1980? The tragic event occurred due to a fire that broke out onboard four days earlier.

To cap off this delightful tour, we will proceed to one of Puerto Madryn's most idyllic locations: Cerro Avanzado. Here, we will share insights about the local geology and sea fossils unique to this region. You will also be treated to an aperitif featuring coffee or tea along with some delightful biscuits.

In conclusion, we will finish our adventure after 3.5 hours back at the starting point.
