Punta Tombo Shore Excursion for Cruise Passengers

If you are arriving in Puerto Madryn by cruise, our trip to Punta Tombo is a suitable activity. In this nature reserve, you will explore Argentina's largest penguin colony and notable landscapes.

Punta Tombo Shore Excursion

We will pick you up at the port of Puerto Madryn and travel to Punta Tombo (entrance fee not included). The journey is approximately 100 miles to the natural reserve known for Argentina's largest penguin colony.

Upon arrival, you will walk along the nature trail within the reserve. You will see penguins in their natural behavior, as we maintain quiet to avoid disturbing those at rest.

We will visit a scenic viewpoint where you can observe penguins interacting with the ocean. The reserve hosts over a million penguins during summer months.

In addition to penguins, you may encounter other wildlife, including Guanacos, Piche 'dwarf' armadillos, and foxes.

After the walk, we will stop at a roadside inn for you to have lunch at your leisure (not included). We will then return to Puerto Madryn, arriving back in time to board your cruise ship.
