Punta Tombo Excursion + Dolphin Observation
We will pick you up from your accommodation in Puerto Madryn at the scheduled time, embarking on our journey south toward the port of Rawson.
Upon arrival at the port, a boat will be prepared to take you into the open waters to observe the enchanting Patagonian dolphins. For approximately an hour and a half, you will sail the Atlantic Ocean while witnessing these magnificent creatures showcasing their impressive acrobatics.
Once we return to shore, our adventure continues southward for about 65 miles until we arrive at the Punta Tombo Natural Reserve. This picturesque area is renowned for hosting the largest continental colony of Magellanic penguins globally.
The exploration of the reserve will commence at the Interpretation Center, where you can learn intriguing facts about these penguins. During the summer months, the colony can exceed more than a million individuals.
Following this, we will take time to wander along the 2 miles of scenic wooden walkways that run parallel to the coast. During this walk, you'll have the opportunity to encounter numerous penguins and various bird species while also observing their nesting areas.
After completing the visit, we'll head back to the vehicle and return you to your hotel in Puerto Madryn, concluding the experience with a total duration of 10 hours.
