Stargazing at Playa El Doradillo

On this trip to Playa El Doradillo, we'll visit one of the best stargazing and whale-watching spots in Patagonia for a magical experience underneath the stars!

Activity Description

If you love astronomy and nature, this experience is for you. We'll start by picking you up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn and heading towards El Doradillo.

Upon arrival, before night falls, we'll go to the shore to admire the whales swimming near the coast of El Doradillo. Many whales come here to breed and nurse their young. Additionally, we may see other local wildlife, including rheas, foxes, and guanacos.

After whale watching, we'll visit an astronomical observatory at Playa El Doradillo. Here, while observing the constellations and nebulae, we'll discuss the connection between the indigenous Tehuelche peoples' world view and astronomy.

Finally, we'll return to Puerto Madryn and conclude the tour at your hotel after a total of 6 hours together.
