Frutillar Day Trip
At approximately 2 pm, pickup will occur from your hotel in central Puerto Montt, followed by a trip north to Llanquihue. Here, participants will learn about the source of the Maullin River and the old Settlers' Route. The area is renowned for its jerky, which will be explored further. Additionally, participants will visit Lake Llanquihue, recognized as the second-largest lake in Chile.
The itinerary will proceed to Frutillar, characterized by traditional wooden Bavarian houses. Guests will receive insights into the Frutillar Music Weeks and its title as the music capital of the country.
During the visit, participants will traverse colorful streets and view well-maintained gardens while enjoying sights of the Puntiagudo and Osorno volcanoes. An optional visit to the German Colonial Museum and Teatro del Lago, a significant theater in South America, is also available.
The return journey to Puerto Montt will commence, with an estimated hotel arrival time of 6:30 pm.
