Hiking in the Alerce Andino National Park

Pick-up will be from your hotel in Puerto Montt at 9:30 am, followed by travel south to the Alerce Andino National Park.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a hiking adventure through the Alerce Andino National Park, a protected area known for its charm.

During the hike, accompanied by the sounds of endemic birds, you will discover various botanical species including hazelnut trees, myrtles, coihues, and ulmos. You will learn to identify these species.

This trail is approximately 4 kilometers long, allowing us to appreciate the natural landscapes around the river in this area. The tour will also lead us to the Saltos del Chaica, impressive waterfalls where you'll have an hour of free time to swim and enjoy a picnic.

After this break, we will climb the last 100 meters to the ancient thousand-year-old larch tree, which stands at 75 meters high, before returning to the starting point of the hike.

We will board the minibus and conclude the activity at 4 pm, returning you to your hotel in Puerto Montt.
