Hiking in the Alerce Andino National Park
Participants will be picked up from their hotel in Puerto Montt at 9.30 am before heading south to Alerce Andino National Park. Upon arrival, hikers will commence a 4-kilometer trail, discovering various botanical species like hazelnut trees, myrtles, coihues, and ulmos, accompanied by the sounds of endemic birds.
The trail leads to the Saltos del Chaica, where hikers will have an hour of free time to swim and enjoy a picnic. Following this, a 100-meter climb will take participants to a thousand-year-old larch tree, standing 75 meters tall. The group will then return to the starting point, concluding the hiking tour before boarding the minibus, with drop-off at the hotel around 4 pm.
