Petrohue Waterfalls & Osorno Volcano Day Trip

At 8:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in central Puerto Montt and head to Puerto Varas en route to Osorno Volcano, known as Chile's Mount Fuji. Along the journey along the Ensenada Road, you will see Lake Llanquihue with views of Osorno. Legend states that the evil spirit Peripillán resides within the volcano.

We will arrive at the Ski and Mountain Centre, located at an altitude of 4,068 feet (1,240 metres), where you will have 1 hour of free time to enjoy views of Osorno Volcano, Calbuco, and the Pacific Ocean. A chairlift is available to the Primavera or Glacier station, and you can enjoy a hot chocolate while absorbing the snowy landscape.

After this, we will proceed to the Petrohue Waterfalls in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where you can witness the stunning series of waterfalls with crystal-clear water flowing over a basaltic lava tongue.

Optionally, a 40-minute boat ride on Todos los Santos Lake is available for those wishing to enjoy panoramic views of the area. The day trip concludes with a return to your hotel in Puerto Montt by approximately 4 pm.
