Petrohue Waterfalls & Osorno Volcano Day Trip

At 8:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in central Puerto Montt. We'll set off for Puerto Varas to reach Osorno Volcano, known as Chile's Mount Fuji.

During our journey along Ensenada Road, we'll skirt Lake Llanquihue while enjoying views of Osorno in the distance. Legend has it that the evil spirit Peripillán resides within the volcano.

We'll arrive at the Ski and Mountain Centre, at an altitude of 4,068 feet (1,240 metres). Here, you'll have 1 hour of free time to appreciate the views of Osorno Volcano, Calbuco, and the Pacific Ocean. A chairlift to the Primavera or Glacier station is available, and you can enjoy hot chocolate while taking in the snowy landscape.

Once we reconvene, we'll head to the Petrohue Waterfalls in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, where you'll see a series of waterfalls with crystal-clear water cascading over a basaltic lava tongue.

If you wish, you can take a 40-minute boat ride on Todos los Santos Lake to enjoy more exceptional views of the area.

We will conclude our day trip by returning you to your hotel in Puerto Montt, arriving around 4 pm.
