Exploration in Amacayacu National Park
Our adventure begins at 9 am with a convenient meeting point at your hotel in Puerto Nariño. We will embark on an exhilarating hiking path that leads us into the depths of Amacayacu National Natural Park.
This trek through the Colombian Amazon will cover a distance of just over 4 miles, following the stunning wooden pathways built throughout the park. As we traverse this lush environment, keep an eye out for the diverse array of wildlife and plant species native to this region.
Our hike will culminate at a Tikuna indigenous community, where we will savor a traditional meal prepared by the locals. After replenishing our energy, we will make our way back to Puerto Nariño, this time enjoying a scenic boat ride.
Don’t forget to look out for the iconic freshwater dolphins while we navigate the river. We anticipate our arrival back in Puerto Nariño around 4 pm.
