Mocagua Monkey Sanctuary Trip

Pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño will be at 9 am before the journey to Mocagua begins. The trip includes sailing down the Amazon on a boat while observing the region's flora and fauna. There is a chance to see freshwater dolphins during this boat ride.

Once on the mainland, visit the indigenous community of Mocagua to learn about their lifestyle in the jungle and their customs. Following this, the group will proceed into the rainforest to reach the monkey sanctuary.

At the sanctuary, engage with various species of primates and understand the efforts of the association dedicated to their rescue and rehabilitation for reintroduction into their natural habitat.

The tour concludes with a traditional meal in the community, offering a local culinary experience. After the meal, return to the boat for the journey back to Puerto Nariño, expected to arrive at 5 pm.
