Mocagua Monkey Sanctuary Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño at 9 am and embark on a trip to Mocagua. First, we will sail down the Amazon on a boat, admiring the region's flora and fauna, with potential encounters with freshwater dolphins.

Upon arriving on the mainland, we will visit the indigenous community of Mocagua, learning about their way of life in the jungle and their customs and traditions. After this, we will head deep into the rainforest to the monkey sanctuary.

At the sanctuary, we will get to know different species of primates and learn about the association dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating these animals for release into their natural habitat.

The tour concludes with a return to the community to enjoy a traditional meal, a fine way to wrap up our adventure. After restoring our energy, we will board the boat and return to Puerto Nariño, arriving at 5 pm.
