Mocagua Monkey Sanctuary Trip

Pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño starts at 9 am, followed by a boat journey down the Amazon to Mocagua. You will experience the region's flora and fauna, with a chance to spot freshwater dolphins.

Upon reaching the mainland, the tour includes a visit to the indigenous community of Mocagua to observe their lifestyle amidst the jungle. Following this, the trip continues deep into the rainforest to the monkey sanctuary.

At the sanctuary, you will encounter various species of primates and learn about the association's efforts to rescue and release these animals into their natural habitats.

The tour concludes with a traditional meal shared with the community. After the meal, you will board the boat again and return to Puerto Nariño, arriving at 5 pm.
