Mocagua Monkey Sanctuary Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño at 9 am before embarking on a trip to Mocagua. First, we will sail down the Amazon onboard a boat while admiring the region's flora and fauna. If we are lucky, we may encounter some freshwater dolphins.

Upon reaching the mainland, we will visit the indigenous community of Mocagua, learning about their lifestyle in the jungle. From there, we will head deeper into the rainforest to arrive at the monkey sanctuary.

We will spend time getting to know the different species of primates that inhabit this area and learn about the association's work dedicated to rescuing these animals and releasing them into their natural habitat.

The tour concludes by returning to the community to enjoy a traditional meal. After restoring our energy, we will return to Puerto Nariño, arriving at 5 pm.
