Mocagua Monkey Sanctuary Trip

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Nariño at 9 am before departing for Mocagua. First, we will sail down the Amazon onboard a boat while admiring the region's flora and fauna. We may encounter some freshwater dolphins.

Upon reaching the mainland, we will visit the indigenous community of Mocagua to learn about their way of life in the jungle. Next, we will head into the rainforest to arrive at the monkey sanctuary.

We will spend time getting to know different species of primates that inhabit the area and learn about the association's work dedicated to rescuing and releasing these animals into their natural habitat.

The tour concludes with a return to the community for a traditional meal. After this experience, we will return to the boat and head back to Puerto Nariño, arriving at 5 pm.
