Venture into the serene waters of the Golfo Nuevo aboard a kayak and encounter the remarkable sea lions that call this place home! You will have the opportunity to observe these captivating creatures in their natural environment.

Kayaking Adventure and Sea Lion Observation

At the designated time, we will meet you at your accommodation in Puerto Pirámides and set off towards Puerto Pirámides. Along the way, we'll pause at the Istmo Ameghino interpretation center to gain insight into the Valdés Peninsula's history and features.

Afterwards, we will return to our transport and proceed to the site where the kayaks are stored. Here, you will receive all necessary gear along with an introduction to essential safety guidelines for the activity.

Once adequately prepared, we will head to the beach and commence kayaking in Golfo Nuevo. As we glide over the water, you can take in the stunning coastal views while approaching a colony of sea lions. Expect an unforgettable experience as these playful animals emerge from the sea!

Are you aware of the key differences between seals and sea lions? We will share intriguing insights about these mammals and discuss how poaching has posed a significant threat to their populations for many years.

After our close encounter with these charming creatures, we’ll make our way back to the estancia for a satisfying picnic lunch consisting of a chicken sandwich, a piece of fruit, a cereal bar, and water.

Finally, we will return to the minibus and conclude this wonderful experience, dropping you off at your hotel approximately 6 hours later.
