Between 8 and 9 am, pick-up at your hotel will commence, followed by a journey in a tourist truck with open-air seats to explore the Bay of Maimon on the northern coast. The tour will highlight the most deeply rooted customs and traditions of the Dominican Republic.

Participants will observe various ecosystems and enjoy impressive views of Puerto Plata from over 330 feet (100 meters) above sea level.

During the trip, you'll meet a Dominican family, who will share their customs and offer a selection of typical products, including local fruits, coffee and cocoa.

The tour proceeds to Playa de Guzmancito, ideal for water activities. You will have free time for swimming, horseback riding, or snorkeling.

A traditional ranch will host a buffet lunch featuring local specialties and Caribbean products. After lunch, the tour continues through various Dominican towns.

The excursion includes a visit to a tobacco plantation to observe the handmade production of renowned Dominican cigars, a key export of the country.

Finally, the tour concludes with a return to your hotel in Puerto Plata at 5 pm.
