Day Trip Details

Pickup from your hotel in Puerto Plata is scheduled. We will travel by minibus 20km south to the Damajagua area, home to the 27 charcos (puddles). These natural pools include vast waterfalls that have created open-air caves where visitors can swim, jump, and slide down natural slides suitable for all ages. We will encounter "La Tinajita" waterfall and "La Virgen" waterfall, where an ancient legend awaits discovery. After exploring, a buffet lunch will be provided. Following lunch, we will visit Imbert Falls and a local plantation to learn about Dominican cuisine. The tour will conclude at a petrified woodcraft shop before returning to your hotel after a seven-hour excursion.
