Day Trip Details
The trip begins with a pickup from your hotel, followed by a 12.42 mi (20 km) journey to the 27 Charcos de Damajagua. This site features a series of spectacular natural pools formed by waterfalls, where you can swim, jump, and slide down natural slides suitable for all ages.
Participants will visit notable spots such as "La Tinajita" and "La Virgen" waterfalls, with local legends enhancing the experience. After exploring the pools, a buffet lunch will be provided. Following lunch, the tour will include a visit to the Imbert Falls and a local plantation to learn about Dominican cuisine.
Lastly, there will be a stop at a petrified woodcraft shop before returning to the minibus for the journey back to hotels in Puerto Plata, which will take between 4 to 7 hours.
