Day Trip Details
After hotel pickup at the scheduled time, we will travel by minibus approximately 12.42 mi (20 km) south to the renowned 27 Charcos de Damajagua.
The site features impressive natural pools formed by gigantic waterfalls, creating open-air caves for swimming, jumping, and sliding down natural slides, suitable for all ages.
Among the 27 pools, we will encounter the "La Tinajita" waterfall and the "La Virgen" waterfall, known for its intriguing legend from the Taino Indians. Details will be revealed during the trip.
After exploring the pools, a buffet lunch will be served. Refreshed, we will depart for the Imbert Falls, visiting a notable plantation to learn about local cuisine.
The tour will conclude with a visit to a petrified woodcraft shop before returning to the minibus for drop-off at hotels in Puerto Plata, with a duration of 4 to 7 hours.
