Puerto Plata Buggy Tour

On this buggy tour, you'll discover the north of the Dominican Republic in an adventure-packed way.

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the town of Muñoz.

Upon arrival, we will review safety rules and equip ourselves with the necessary gear before starting the buggy tour of the northern jungle. Prepare for an adrenaline-filled experience!

The tour begins with a stop at a farm in Bulula for a countryside coffee. We will then proceed through a landscape adorned with palm and mahogany trees, farmland, and seaside views. This area was a refuge for the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Our next stop is Bergantín Beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the water for 30 minutes before returning to Muñoz and back to your hotel, arriving approximately 2.5 hours after pickup.

Requirements

To drive the buggy, participants must be over 18 years of age. Children aged 3 to 17 can only travel as passengers.The 4-person buggies accommodate one driver and three passengers, who may take turns driving if they meet the requirements.

For the 9 am tour, pickup in Puerto Plata covers Playa Dorada, Costa Dorada, Puerto Taino Bay, Centro, Amber Cove Harbour, and Hacienda Lifestyle.For the 1 pm tour, pickup at the Amber Cove and Taino Bay cruise ports in Puerto Plata is also included.
