Puerto Plata Buggy Tour

On this buggy tour, you'll discover the north of the Dominican Republic in an adventure-filled way.

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head to the town of Muñoz via minibus.

Upon arrival, we will review safety rules and gear up with necessary equipment before starting the exciting buggy tour through the northern jungle of the Dominican Republic. Prepare for adrenaline as you drive these powerful vehicles.

The first stop will be a farm in Bulula for a quick visit and countryside coffee. The tour continues across a landscape of palm and mahogany trees, farmlands, and stunning seaside views. This area was once a refuge for the Pirates of the Caribbean.

We will then stop at Bergantín Beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the water for 30 minutes before returning to Muñoz for the ride back to your hotel, arriving approximately 2.5 hours after pickup.

Requirements

To drive the buggy, you must be over 18 years of age. Children aged 3 to 17 may only travel as passengers.The 4-person buggies accommodate one driver and three passengers who may take turns driving if they meet the necessary requirements.

This activity includes pickup in Puerto Plata, Sosúa, and Cabarete. Specifically, in Puerto Plata, pickups are available in areas such as Playa Dorada, Costa Dorada, Puerto Taino Bay, Centro, Amber Cove Port, and Hacienda Lifestyle.
