After picking you up from your hotel at the scheduled time, we'll head into the historic centre of Puerto Plata to visit the San Felipe Fortress, one of the city's oldest monuments. We'll explore the Dominican Republic's history and colonial past while visiting this bastion.

Next, we'll visit the amber and larimar factory, where you'll learn about these semi-precious stones. Discover the connection between amber and the film Jurassic Park.

We will continue our tour by delving into the culture, way of life, and local produce of Puerto Plata. Stops will include the Macorix rum factory, an artisanal cigar factory, and a chocolate factory. Finally, we will stop at the Malecón to discuss the Merengue festival.

We will then enjoy a traditional lunch at a restaurant before offering you 1 hour of free time at Puerto Plata's beach, featuring fine white sand and turquoise water. Afterward, we will take you back to your hotel in Puerto Plata, concluding the tour 4 hours after we began exploring the city's highlights.
