Tour Details

The tour begins with a pickup at the Puerto Plata cruise port or your hotel at the scheduled time. Participants will journey to Taino Valley Tropical Park, an ecological reserve featuring trails and statues of ancient Taino gods, highlighting their role in indigenous culture.

After reaching the Taino Valley viewpoint for panoramic views, the tour continues to fruit plantations to taste fresh fruits. The itinerary includes exploring the Dominican coffee route to learn about coffee production and enjoy a brewed cup, along with insights into Dominican tobacco and cigar making.

A lunch break at the Casa Colonial follows, after which the group will explore Puerto Plata, visiting the San Felipe Fortress and enjoying views of the Caribbean Sea. The day includes stops at the Amber Museum, Independence Square, the Cathedral, Rose Street, and the street of umbrellas.

The tour concludes with a drop-off at the pickup point after a 7-hour experience.
