Embark on a fun-filled adventure through the inland Dominican Republic with our Yasica River Kayak Tour. You'll have a great time kayaking through this breathtaking part of the island.

Yasica River Kayak Tour

At 8 am, we'll pick you up either from your hotel in Puerto Plata or from Cabarete's Plaza Popular and head to the Yasica River. Halfway through our drive, we'll stop in the village of Nuestra Señora del Carmen and learn about Dominican rodaos with Mrs Marcela. Afterwards, we'll head to the river and kick off our kayak tour.

We'll row through crystal clear water while admiring the island's ancient trees and dense tropical vegetation. Tucked away caves and unexpected twists and turns await. We'll take a break on the riverbank for an aperitif of cheese and a rodao.

Afterwards, we'll continue kayaking downstream and exploring Yasica. If you like, you can jump off your kayak and take a refreshing dip in the water.

Later on, at 12:30 pm, we'll leave the kayaks behind and head to the village for a delicious Dominican lunch of chicken, beans, and rice.

Once we've eaten, we'll set off for Puerto Plata, where we'll arrive at 4 pm.
