Ziplining in Monkeyland

At 7:15 am, pick-up occurs from your hotel in Puerto Plata in a safari truck. After a 45-minute drive, arrive at Monkeyland.

First, meet the monkeys native to the park. Following this, receive a short safety briefing and put on your helmets and harnesses before starting the zipline circuit.

The course consists of seven zip lines, with pulleys between two platforms at a height of 50 feet (16 metres), offering great views of the jungle and Caribbean wilderness.

After the zipline circuit, enjoy some fresh tropical fruits with juices and soft drinks. Later, return to your hotel in Puerto Plata, arriving by 1:30 pm.

Who can do this activity?

The minimum age for participation is 8 years old. Each participant must weigh between 60 pounds (27 kilograms) and 300 pounds (136 kilograms). Waist size must not exceed 50 inches (127 centimetres).

Children under 12 years old may reach zip line number 8, where they'll wait for adults in the reception area with staff assistance.
