On this excursion from Puerto Vallarta, we will visit two Magical Towns in the state of Jalisco: Mascota and Talpa de Allende.

Mascota & Talpa de Allende Excursion

At 7:30 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Vallarta and head east. Before reaching our first destination, we will stop in La Estancia for a typical Mexican breakfast.

In Mascota, we will explore the historic center, highlighting colonial architecture and significant sites such as the church of Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores, the Municipal Palace, and the incomplete church of the Precious Blood. You will learn about the impact of the Mexican Revolution on the church's unfinished construction.

Our final stop will be in Talpa de Allende, where you will have 1 hour and 20 minutes for lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, a guided tour will take place, focusing on the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Talpa, a pilgrimage site for over three million visitors annually. The basilica, established in 1782, features Gothic and Churrigueresque styles.

To conclude the excursion, we will return to the minibus and drop you off at your hotel around 8:30 pm.
