Alerce Andino National Park Trek
At 9 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Varas and head south, bordering the Reloncaví Estuary. After an hour and a half's journey, we will reach Alerce Andino National Park.
Once we reach the park, we will start our guided trek through vegetation full of ulmo, guindo, Chilean myrtle, and hazel trees, as well as numerous other tree species and flora.
Along this 4-kilometer trail, we will pass by the river that flows through Alerce Andino National Park, arriving at the Saltos del Chaica, spectacular waterfalls. There you will have an hour of free time to swim or enjoy your packed lunch in nature.
After a break to replenish our energy, we will continue our trek towards one of the emblematic symbols of this national park; the age-old larch tree, notable for its size and age.
At the end of our guided trek, we will return to Puerto Varas and drop you off at your hotel, arriving at 4 pm.
