Andean Lakes Crossing
Meet at 8 am in Puerto Varas to start your journey east along Lake Llanquihue.
Board a ferry to admire the Osorno Volcano and other Andes peaks during the 2-hour crossing to Villa Peulla. You will have 2 hours of free time for lunch and exploring the area, which features numerous waterfalls.
Afterward, cross into Argentina, reaching the border at nearly 1000 meters (3,300 feet) above sea level before descending to Puerto Frías. Board a catamaran to sail on Félix Frías Lake to Puerto Alegre, then take a bus to Puerto Blest in the Nahuel Huapi National Park.
Rest for about half an hour and enjoy views of the Argentine Andes before taking a ferry across Nahuel Huapi Lake, known for its glacial waters and stunning natural scenery.
Finally, a bus will take you to Bariloche, arriving around 7:30 pm. Bariloche, referred to as 'the capital of Argentine tourism,' offers a vibrant culture, sports, and dining options.
Return to Puerto Varas
When booking, select either a one-way trip to Bariloche or include a return journey to Puerto Varas, specifying the return date. Chilean and Argentinian residents pay only for the one-way journey; the return trip is complimentary.
