History, culture, and incredible landscapes await us on this excursion to Calbuco Island, in one of the most beautiful archipelagos of the Chilean Lake District.
Calbuco Island Private Excursion
We'll pick you up from your hotel at the indicated time and head towards Calbuco Island. The commune of Calbuco, capital of the island, is located in Reloncaví Sound, an area known for its natural beauty surrounded by green islands.
We'll begin our tour of Calbuco by observing the tower of Cerro La Picuta, a remnant of the first Spanish settlement. Next, we'll visit the Municipal History Museum to explore the town's history dating back 400 years. We'll continue to the Plaza de Armas to view the Church of San Miguel Arcángel, which holds a carving of the saint from 1602.
Our next stop will be the viewpoint of Las Terrazas del Amanecer, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, followed by a visit to La Vega cove to explore local products of the Lake District.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel, arriving nine hours after the pickup.
