Day Trip Details

Pickup from your hotel in Puerto Varas is at 8 am. We will start a cruise along the Chacao Canal, known for its variety of birds. After 30 minutes, we will dock at the port of Chacao on Chiloé Island, where you can view the church and main square. The town of Castro will be explored next, highlighting its colorful houses.

We will see the Gamboa River Palafitos Stilt Houses, known for their distinctive construction. Our next stop is the Church of Nercón, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour concludes in Dalcahue, where you can visit the craft market and, time permitting, the Ethnographic Historic Museum. You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch.

We will return to Puerto Varas, with arrival expected at around 7 pm.
