Chiloé Island Day Trip: Chacao, Castro y Dalcahue

Pickup from your hotel in Puerto Varas is at 8 am, followed by a cruise along the Chacao Canal, known for its bird variety. After a 30-minute sail, we will arrive at the port of Chacao on Chiloé Island, where you can see the church and main square. We will then explore the town of Castro with its colorful houses.

You will have approximately one hour for lunch in Castro. Post-lunch, we will visit the Gamboa River Palafitos Stilt Houses, known for their unique structures above the water. Next, we will visit the Church of Nercón, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our final stop will be in Dalcahue, where you can visit the craft market and the Ethnographic Historic Museum (entrance not included).

We will return to Puerto Varas, dropping you off at your hotel around 7 pm.
