Tour Details

After hotel pickup, we'll begin our private tour of Puerto Varas, the so-called City of Roses. The first stop will be a viewpoint with vistas of Lake Llanquihue. Then, we will explore the historic center of Puerto Varas and learn about the city's history from the 19th century.

We'll observe the old quarter and the exterior of the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, whose aesthetics resemble a temple from the German Baden-Württemberg region.

Next, we'll travel west to the Lake District and visit the town of Nueva Braunau, known for its traditional lifestyle. Here, we'll explore the Antonio Felmer Museum showcasing objects from early settlers.

We will then visit the Lahuen Ñadi Natural Monument and walk through the larch forest, spotting flora and birds, including the black woodpecker and black-throated huet-huet, as well as mammals like the pudú and gray fox.

After a short hike, we'll visit the Angelmó market in Puerto Montt, known for its fruit, vegetables, and fresh fish, along with kiosks selling handicrafts. The tour concludes between 3:30 pm and 4 pm at your hotel.
