Tour Details

After hotel pickup, we'll start the private tour of Puerto Varas, known as the City of Roses. The first stop is a viewpoint with views of Lake Llanquihue. We'll then explore the historic center of Puerto Varas and learn about its 19th-century origins.

We'll see the old quarter and the exterior of the Baroque Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which resembles a temple in Baden-Württemberg. The tour will explain this resemblance.

Next, we'll board the minibus to the Lake District, visiting the town of Nueva Braunau known for its traditional lifestyle and dairy farms. Here, we'll visit the Antonio Felmer Museum, showcasing objects from early settlers.

We'll then explore the Lahuen Ñadi Natural Monument, walking through a larch forest while observing its flora and wildlife, including the black woodpecker and gray fox. A short hike leads us to the Angelmó market in Puerto Montt, filled with local produce and handicrafts.

The activity concludes between 3:30 pm and 4 pm, returning you to your hotel.
