Day Trip Details

Between 7:30 and 8 am, hotel pickups will occur, starting at Puerto Varas at 7:30 am and followed by Puerto Montt at 8 am. We will drive to the small village of Caleta La Arena to take a ferry for a boat trip through the Reloncavi estuary.

The boat trip lasts 35 minutes until we arrive at Caleta Puelche. Afterward, we will travel by minibus along the estuary's border, passing through the town of Puelo until we reach Tagua Tagua Lake.

At Tagua Tagua Lake, you will have 2 hours free for lunch and exploration. Options include strolling along the shores or purchasing a boat ticket to view the iconic waterfall from the natural spring.

Next, we will visit Cochamó, learning about its history and observing its emblematic buildings, including a church with an octagonal bell tower, surrounded by natural beauty.

We will conclude with our return trip by minibus through Ralún and along the shores of Lake Llanquihue, with drop-off in Puerto Varas between 4:30 and 5 pm.
