Reloncavi Estuary & Tagua Tagua Lake Day Trip

Join us for a day in nature on this day trip to the Reloncavi estuary and Tagua Tagua Lake. We'll visit villages like Cochamó while enjoying the Chilean landscape.

Day Trip Details

Between 7:30 and 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and drive to Caleta La Arena for a ferry trip through the Reloncavi estuary. After a 35-minute sail, we will reach Caleta Puelche. Then, we will continue by minibus along the estuary's border, passing the town of Puelo until we arrive at Tagua Tagua Lake.

You will have 2 hours free to enjoy lunch and explore the waters of Tagua Tagua Lake. Options include strolling along the shores or purchasing a boat ticket to see the iconic waterfall.

Next, we’ll visit Cochamó, learning about the Huilliche people history while exploring its streets and viewing notable buildings, including the church with an octagonal bell tower.

Our return trip will be by minibus through Ralún and along Lake Llanquihue, dropping you off at the center of Puerto Varas between 4:30 and 5 pm.
