Pula Free Tour

The free tour of Pula starts at Trg Forum. In this central square, we will examine the Town Hall and the Temple of Augustus, learning about its significance to the ancient Romans.

Next, we will visit Pula Castle for panoramic views of the city and stop at the Statue of James Joyce, highlighting the Irish writer's connection to the region. We will then go under the Serbian Arch, a structure over 2,000 years old.

During the tour, we will see other historical sites, including the Twin and Hercules Gates. Close to these, we will view the impressive Arena of Pula, a remarkable Roman amphitheater similar to the Colosseum in Rome.

The 2-hour tour concludes at Tito's Park, where we will discuss Croatia's Yugoslav past.
