Itinerary

We will meet up at the indicated time at Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati, one of the most important temples in Pune. We stop in front of the grand entrance to reveal all about how it was constructed and to see the two majestic marble sentinels.

Once inside the temple, you will encounter the magnificent statue of the Hindu God Ganesha, adorned in more than forty kilos of gold. Do you know why this god has the body of a human and the head of an elephant? All is revealed on this tour!

Our journey continues to five other ancient temples dedicated to this God where you will learn about its importance in Hindu culture. In each one of these shrines, we will receive blessings and insights into this religion.

Our next stop is the oldest market in Pune. We will browse the various stalls which sell a huge variety of local products. There is something for everyone here!
