Are you an adventurer at heart? Don't miss out on this hiking and caving activity in Los Gigantes! It'll be an exhilarating experience in this spectacular area of northern Argentina.

Hiking + Caving in Los Gigantes

When you make your reservation, you will be able to choose between one of the following itineraries, which vary by trail length and location. You will meet at the scheduled time on the RP28 Route of Los Gigantes.

Hiking and Caving in the La Bestia River

This option involves a total hike of 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) with a medium-high difficulty level, lasting approximately 9 hours and ascending to 1600 meters (5,250 feet). Along the hike, there will be rest stops for enjoying views of the province of Cordoba and consuming the picnic lunch provided by you.

The route includes traversing the Batán ravine and entering the underground river La Bestia. Participants will descend 72 meters (236 feet) into the earth, exploring waterfalls, narrow passages, and five giant chambers, including swimming through a 35-meter-long section (114 feet) with walls no more than 60 centimeters (2 feet) wide.

The activity concludes back at the meeting point after a full day of adventure.

Hiking and Caving in the Toro Gorge

This itinerary features a 14-kilometer (8.7-mile) hiking route, also with medium-high difficulty, reaching a maximum altitude of 2100 meters (6,900 feet) and lasting 8 to 9 hours. There will be stops for resting, eating, and enjoying the landscapes of Cordoba.

The trail runs along the eastern slope of the Toro ravine and leads to a cave where participants will descend to the underground waterfall of El Toro. The descent will reach 40 meters (131 feet) over a stretch of 120 meters (400 feet) to see the second-largest underground waterfall in the world.

After this adventure, the group will return to the meeting point to conclude the experience.
