Los Gigantes Hiking Tour
On this hike through the Los Gigantes mountain range, we will explore diverse landscapes and observe the condors that inhabit the area of Cordoba.
At the designated time, we will meet at Route RP28 in Los Gigantes to collect the necessary equipment and review the route details.
The medium-difficulty hike will last approximately 8 hours and cover 16 kilometers (10 miles), reaching altitudes over 2100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level. We will begin by crossing the eastern slope of Los Gigantes, navigating through La Cuchilla gorge, and then proceeding to La Senda gorge, which leads us into the valleys. The route includes a natural staircase, and we will make stops to rest, enjoy the views, and eat the picnic lunch you bring.
As we enter the valley, we will encounter the corridors of Anjo, Mocho, and Jano, with Jano offering a viewpoint for observing the condors.
The hike will conclude at 6 pm back at the meeting point.
