Los Gigantes Hiking Tour

On this hike through the Los Gigantes mountain range, we will traverse landscapes and witness the flight of the condors native to Cordoba.

At the scheduled time, we will meet at Route RP28 in Los Gigantes, gather the equipment, prepare for the adventure, and learn about the route details.

After the introduction, we will embark on our medium-difficulty hike, lasting about 8 hours and covering 16 kilometers (10 miles). The trail will lead through the valleys of the Los Gigantes mountain range, reaching altitudes over 2100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level.

Initially, we will cross the eastern slope of Los Gigantes, passing through La Cuchilla gorge. We will then navigate La Senda gorge, granting us access to the valleys through a natural staircase. We will make several stops for rest, sightseeing, and to enjoy the picnic lunch you have brought.

As we enter the valley, we will explore the corridors of Anjo, Mocho, and Jano, the latter featuring an exceptional viewpoint for observing the condors.

Finally, the hike will conclude at 6 pm back at the meeting point.
