Tour to Alta Gracia, Villa General Belgrano, and La Cumbrecita

On this excursion from Villa Carlos Paz, we will visit the German village of Villa General Belgrano and stop in Alta Gracia, where we will explore the Jesuit legacy and the house of Che Guevara. There is also an option to extend the tour to La Cumbrecita.

Tour to Alta Gracia, Villa General Belgrano, & La Cumbrecita

When reserving, you can choose one of two options. Both include hotel pickup in Villa Carlos Paz at the specified time, transportation, a guide, and return transfer.

Alta Gracia & Villa General Belgrano (6 hours)

The tour starts with a drive through the landscapes of Sierras Chicas in Córdoba. We will stop at Los Molinos Lake and Alta Gracia.

In Alta Gracia, we will view the Jesuit complex and learn about the Society of Jesus' legacy in South America, followed by a visit to the Che Museum to explore the life of Ernesto Guevara.

Next, we will travel through Calamuchita Valley to Villa General Belgrano, known for its Bavarian-style architecture influenced by Central European settlers.

After exploring Villa General Belgrano, we return to your hotel in Villa Carlos Paz.

Schedules: From January-February, the tour departs at 1:30 pm daily. For the rest of the year, departures are at 1:30 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Alta Gracia, Villa General Belgrano, & La Cumbrecita (11 hours)

This option follows the same itinerary up to Villa General Belgrano, after which we continue to La Cumbrecita, the first eco-pedestrian village in Argentina.

We will spend the day walking through La Cumbrecita, where vehicles are prohibited, emphasizing environmental protection. Lunch will be on your own in La Cumbrecita before returning to your hotel in Villa Carlos Paz.

Schedules: From January-February, the tour departs at 8 am daily. The rest of the year, departures are at 8 am on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
