Tour to Alta Gracia, Villa General Belgrano, and La Cumbrecita

On this excursion from Villa Carlos Paz, we'll visit the German village of Villa General Belgrano and stop in Alta Gracia to explore the Jesuit legacy and the house of Che Guevara. An extension to La Cumbrecita is also available.

Tour to Alta Gracia, Villa General Belgrano, & La Cumbrecita

Upon booking, you can select one of the following options which include hotel pickup in Villa Carlos Paz, transportation, a guide, and return transfer.

Alta Gracia & Villa General Belgrano (6 hours)

This option involves a drive through the landscapes of the Sierras Chicas, with stops at Los Molinos Lake and Alta Gracia. In Alta Gracia, visit the Jesuit complex and the Che Museum to learn about Ernesto Guevara's life. Then, travel to Villa General Belgrano, known for its Bavarian-style architecture influenced by former Central European settlers. After the tour, return to your hotel.

Schedules: From January-February, tours depart at 1:30 pm daily. For the remainder of the year, tours depart at 1:30 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Alta Gracia, Villa General Belgrano, & La Cumbrecita (11 hours)

This includes the same itinerary as the previous option, followed by a visit to La Cumbrecita, the first eco-pedestrian village in Argentina, recognized for environmental protection. Lunch is on your own in La Cumbrecita, after which return to your hotel in Villa Carlos Paz.

Schedules: From January-February, tours depart at 8 am daily. During the rest of the year, departures occur at 8 am on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
