Valle de los Lisos Hiking and Canyoning
At 8 am, we will meet at route RP28 in Los Gigantes for a technical talk and to gather necessary material. The hike will cover a total of between 19 and 21 kilometers (12-13 miles), classified as medium-high difficulty, taking approximately 8 hours to complete with ascents to peaks of up to 2100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level.
The route traverses the rugged terrain of the Valle de los Lisos Reserve in the Los Gigantes mountain range in Córdoba, with stops for rest, views, and a picnic lunch. We will hike along trail 16 leading to the Truchas waterfall where participants can take a refreshing dip before the canyoning adventure. Wearing wetsuits and life jackets, we will navigate several rivers between narrow rock walls, testing our agility and skill.
Our day will conclude at around 6 pm back at the meeting point.
