Valle de los Lisos Hiking and Canyoning
The meeting point is at 8 am on route RP28 in Los Gigantes. A brief technical talk will precede the gathering of necessary materials.
The hike will cover a distance of 19 to 21 kilometers (12-13 miles), categorized as medium-high difficulty, and is expected to last around 8 hours. Participants will ascend to peaks reaching 2100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level.
The route goes through the rugged terrain of the Valle de los Lisos Reserve in the Los Gigantes mountain range, located in Córdoba. There will be breaks to rest, enjoy views, and eat a picnic lunch brought by participants.
Trail 16 leads to the Truchas waterfall, where a refreshing dip is available before the canyoning adventure. Participants will wear wetsuits and life jackets while traversing several rivers between narrow rock walls, testing agility and skill.
The day concludes at approximately 6 pm at the meeting point.
