Valle de los Lisos Hiking and Canyoning
The adventure begins at 8 am at route RP28 in Los Gigantes, where a brief technical talk will be held prior to gathering necessary materials.
Following the preparation, the hike will cover between 19 and 21 kilometers (12-13 miles) on a medium-high-difficulty trail expected to take approximately 8 hours to complete. The route will involve ascending peaks up to 2100 meters (6,900 feet) above sea level.
This path will traverse a rugged area of the Valle de los Lisos Reserve in the Los Gigantes mountain range, within the Argentine province of Córdoba. Regular stops will be made for rest, view appreciation, and dining on the provided picnic lunch.
Participants will follow trail 16, which leads to the Truchas waterfall, where a refreshing dip is available before starting the canyoning adventure. Participants will wear wetsuits and life jackets to navigate through several rivers between narrow rock walls, testing agility and skill.
The event concludes at approximately 6 pm at the initial meeting point.
