2-Day Trip to Aymara and Juli

Come with us to discover temples, churches, and beautiful views of Puno on this 2-day tour of Aymara and Juli. This immersive experience in the Andean highlands features magic and ancient history!

Tour Details

Day 1: Puno - Aymara

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puno to begin the adventure.

Our first stop is Inca Uyo, known as the Temple of Fertility. Here, you'll see phallic sculptures, with insights into its history.

Next, we visit the Mollo Archeological Complex, a settlement of the Lupaca people. We'll also learn about Andean Waru Warus, agricultural techniques that cultivate in flood-prone areas.

Next, we head to Aramu Muru, or the 'Gate of the Gods', featuring a rock altar over 5 meters long, surrounded by a unique landscape.

For lunch, we’ll go to a restaurant in Juli, where you can order from the menu. You'll then have a free afternoon by Lake Titicaca to enjoy activities like kayaking, quad biking, zip-lining, or a sailboat ride.

We’ll end the day at a hostel in Juli for the night.

Day 2: Juli - Puno

We’ll have breakfast before exploring Juli's churches and museums. First is the Óscar Velasco Mesas Museum, followed by the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption.

We continue with tours of the San Juan de Letrán Church and San Pedro Cathedral, experiencing local religious architecture. We’ll also visit the Church of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem.

To conclude, you can participate in a coca leaf reading on San Bartolomé Hill with Yatiri, healers of Aymara medicine.

Around 2 pm, we’ll return to Puno, ending this tour at your hotel.
