2-Day Trip to La Paz & the Salar de Uyuni

Join us on this 2-day trip from Puno to La Paz and the Salar de Uyuni, to explore one of the natural wonders of Bolivia.

Tour Details

Day 1: Puno – La Paz – Uyuni

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to transfer to the bus station for an 8-hour journey to La Paz. You will have free time in La Paz and El Alto to explore local culture and attractions. In the evening, an overnight bus with reclining seats will take us to Uyuni, a journey of 10 hours.

Day 2: Salar de Uyuni

Upon arrival in Uyuni, you can have breakfast at a café with available bathroom and shower facilities. After resting, we'll start our 1.5-hour visit to the Train Cemetery, followed by a trip to the town of Colchani and the Salar de Uyuni, stopping at artisanal workshops and a salt processing plant.

Next, we will visit Ojos de Salar and the Sal de Playa Blanca Hotel, currently a museum, before heading to Incahuasi Island known for its giant cacti. After viewing the sunset over the Salar de Uyuni, we will return to Uyuni and drop you off at either the bus station or a location of your choice.

Please note that hotel pickup services are included for those staying in the centre of Puno. If your accommodation is outside this area, we will meet at the Puno Bus Terminal (Terminal Terrestre). Be at the Puno Bus Terminal at 6:40 am. For the final day, consider accommodation in Uyuni or book a bus departing after 8 pm.
