2-Day Trip to La Paz & the Salar de Uyuni

Join us on this 2-day trip from Puno to La Paz and the Salar de Uyuni.

Tour Details

Day 1: Puno – La Paz – Uyuni

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to go to the bus station for an 8-hour bus journey to La Paz. Once in La Paz, you'll have free time to explore the city. At night, we will take an overnight bus with reclining seats for a 10-hour ride to Uyuni.

Day 2: Salar de Uyuni

Upon arrival in Uyuni, you can have breakfast and use bathroom and shower facilities at a café. After a few hours, we will start a 1-and-a-half-hour visit of the Train Cemetery and proceed to Colchani to reach the Salar de Uyuni, visiting artisanal workshops and a salt processing plant along the way.

The tour will include stops at Ojos de Salar, Sal de Playa Blanca Hotel, and Incahuasi Island, renowned for its giant cacti. After witnessing a stunning sunset over the Salar de Uyuni, we will return to Uyuni. You can choose to be dropped off at the bus station or a location in town after this 9-hour excursion.

Additional Info

Hotel pickup is included for those in the centre of Puno. If your hotel is outside this area, we will meet you at the Puno Bus Terminal (Terminal Terrestre). Please arrive at the terminal by 6:40 am. For the last day, consider accommodation in Uyuni or a bus after 8 pm.
