2-Day Trip to La Paz & the Salar de Uyuni

Join us on this 2-day trip from Puno to La Paz and the Salar de Uyuni.

Tour Details

Day 1: Puno – La Paz – Uyuni

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to head to the bus station for an 8-hour trip to La Paz. You will have free time to explore the city and El Alto.

At night, we'll take an overnight bus with seats that recline up to 160 degrees, arriving in Uyuni after 10 hours.

Day 2: Salar de Uyuni

After reaching Uyuni in the morning, we will visit a café for breakfast and shower facilities. We will start with a 1-and-a-half-hour visit of the Train Cemetery, followed by a visit to Colchani and the Salar de Uyuni, including artisanal workshops and a salt processing plant.

The tour will continue at Ojos de Salar and the Sal de Playa Blanca Hotel, currently a museum. We will visit Incahuasi Island, known for its giant cacti.

After a sunset over the Salar de Uyuni, we will return to Uyuni and drop you off at the bus station or a location of your choice after this 9-hour day.

Hotel pickup services are included for those staying in the centre of Puno. If your accommodation is outside this area, we will meet you at the Puno Bus Terminal (Terminal Terrestre).

Please be at the Puno Bus Terminal at 6:40 am. For the final day, we recommend finding accommodation in Uyuni or booking a bus leaving after 8 pm.
