Chucuito, Aramu Muru & Juli Day Trip

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puno to begin our excursion to Chucuito, Aramu Muru, and Juli.

Our first stop will be Chucuito, a town overlooking Lake Titicaca known for its archaeological wealth, where we will visit its iconic Temple of Fertility.

We will continue to Chullpas de Molloco, extraordinary pre-Columbian constructions. We will explore their purpose and unique rounded shape.

Next, we'll observe Andean waru waru, floodable furrows that create a microclimate to grow crops effectively.

The tour takes us to Aramu Muru, known as the Gate of the Gods, a legendary site believed to be a future gateway for deities, where we will learn about its ancient stone portal.

We will then visit the city of Juli, referred to as the 'Rome of Latin America'. You will see churches such as St. Peter's, St. John Lateran, and St. Dominic, and appreciate notable paintings by Cusquenian artists.

Afterward, we'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch at your leisure. We will return to your hotel in Puno, arriving nine hours after our departure.
