Let yourself be amazed by the Inca Uyo fertility temple on this tour to Chucuito from Puno. You'll learn about Inca history and colonial architecture in this town.

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puno and travel to Chucuito, a town that preserves its colonial and pre-Hispanic architecture.

First, we'll enter Inca Uyo, considered the fertility temple of Mother Earth. The temple's purpose was to herald the solstices and equinoxes. You will have time after the guide's explanations to take pictures.

Next, we will visit the main square, where we'll find the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion. You will learn about why Chucuito is known as the city of the Royal Boxes.

We will then proceed to the viewpoint in town, offering views of southern Peru and Titicaca Lake.

Lastly, you will have half an hour of free time to continue exploring Chucuito. You'll arrive in Puno at 12:30 pm.
