Copacabana & Island of the Sun Trip

Cross the border between Peru and Bolivia and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Titicaca on this fantastic trip to Copacabana and the Island of the Sun.

Tour Details

After picking you up from your hotel in Puno at the designated time, we will head by bus to the Bolivian city of Copacabana.

We will cross the border and reach our destination around 11 am. Upon arrival, a walking tour will include the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria, a significant site of pilgrimage.

A meal consisting of a plate of chicken or trout and a drink will be provided before proceeding to the port for a boat ride to the Island of the Sun, offering views of Lake Titicaca.

Upon disembarking, a guided tour of approximately two hours will begin, focusing on the fountain of eternal youth and Inca culture through ancient sanctuaries.

After visiting the Island of the Sun, we will take the boat back to Copacabana. We will then change transport to return to Puno by bus, arriving around 8:30 pm.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Puno. If your accommodation is on the outskirts, you will need to go to Calle Jirón Arequipa, near Plaza de Armas.

Pickup is not available from certain locations, including GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, Lake Titikaka Hotel-Xima, and any hotels located on the Uros Islands.
