Copacabana & Island of the Sun Trip

Cross the border between Peru and Bolivia and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Titicaca on this fantastic trip to Copacabana and the Island of the Sun.

Tour Details

After hotel pickup in Puno, we will travel by bus to Copacabana, Bolivia, arriving around 11 am. The visit includes a walking tour of the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria, a key pilgrimage site from the XVII century.

A meal featuring chicken or trout and a drink will be provided. Following this, we will board a boat for a ride to the Island of the Sun, enjoying views of Lake Titicaca

Upon arrival, a guided tour of approximately two hours will explore the fountain of eternal youth and the origins of Inca culture, highlighted by ancient sanctuaries.

After the tour, we will return by boat to Copacabana and then take a bus back to Puno, arriving at 8:30 pm.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels located in the center of Puno. Those staying on the outskirts must go to Calle Jirón Arequipa near Plaza de Armas for pickup.

Note that pickup is not available from certain hotels, including GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, and others listed, as well as hotels on the Uros Islands.
