Copacabana & Island of the Sun Trip

Cross the border between Peru and Bolivia and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Titicaca on this fantastic trip to Copacabana and the Island of the Sun.

Tour Details

After hotel pickup in Puno, we will travel by bus to Copacabana, Bolivia. We expect to arrive around 11 am, where we will partake in a walking tour, highlighting the facade of the Basilica of the Virgin of Candelaria, a significant pilgrimage site established in the 17th century. Following this, a meal including a plate of chicken or trout and a drink will be provided.

Next, we will board a boat to the Island of the Sun, enjoying scenic views of Lake Titicaca. Upon arrival, a guided tour lasting approximately two hours will commence, focusing on the fountain of eternal youth and exploring the origins of Inca culture through ancient sanctuaries.

After visiting the Island, we will return by boat to Copacabana, followed by a bus ride back to Puno, expected to arrive at 8:30 pm.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in central Puno. If your accommodation is on the outskirts, you must reach Calle Jirón Arequipa, near Plaza de Armas. Pickup is not available from specific locations, including GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, and hotels on the Uros Islands.
