Tour Details

After hotel pickup, we’ll travel northeast for approximately 45 minutes to the archaeological site of Sillustani, located on the shores of Lake Umayo at 13,123 feet (4,000 meters) above sea level. You will see the chullpas, tombs constructed above ground in tower-like structures that appear to defy gravity.

During your visit, you’ll uncover aspects of the ancient Colla culture and their funeral rituals and will have the opportunity to view the sacred Lake Umayo.

After exploring Sillustani, we will return to your hotel in Puno, with the total duration of the tour being around three and a half hours.

Hotel Pickup

This tour includes pickup from hotels in central Puno. If your accommodation is elsewhere, you must go to Jiron Arequipa Street, close to the Plaza de Armas. Note that pickup is not available from certain locations, including GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, Lake Titikaka Hotel-Xima, and hotels on the Uros Islands.
