Lake Titicaca Kayaking Experience

Explore the waters of Lake Titicaca as you kayak to the floating Uros Islands. This activity offers an adventurous way to discover this area of Peru.

Activity Details

You will be picked up from your hotel at the designated time and taken to the launch site where the kayaks are located. After receiving safety instructions and learning rowing techniques, you will kayak on Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake. Approximately one hour later, you will arrive at the floating Uros Islands, constructed by the Uru people from the lake’s reeds.

Upon arrival, the locals will share insights about their lifestyle. After a short exploration of the island to learn about its culture and traditions, you will kayak back to the mainland.

The total duration of the tour is around 4 hours, concluding with a drop-off at your hotel.

Hotel Pickup

Pickup is included from hotels in the center of Puno. If you are staying outside this area, you must reach Jiron Arequipa Street, situated near the Plaza de Armas.

Note that pickup is not available from locations such as GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, Lake Titikaka Hotel-Xima, Pacha Confort, Mirador del Titikaka, Hotel Wisny, Jose Antonio Hotel, Taypikala Hotel, Pumakala Hotel, Atoja Chucuito Hotel, and any hotels on the Uros Islands.
