Description

The Ruta del Sol is a recommended journey through southern Peru. Meet at Avenida Costanera with Jr. Lampa, and depart for Pukara.

Start by discovering the legacy of the ancient Andean people at the Pukara interpretation center, home to the iconic Pukara bulls, which symbolize protection and prosperity.

Next, proceed to La Raya pass for a photo opportunity at over 4300 meters above sea level. Afterward, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant.

Visit the archaeological site of Raqchi to see the remains of the ancient temple of God Wiracocha.

Continue to the village of Andahuaylillas to visit the church of San Pedro Apóstol, known as the "Sistine Chapel of America." The tour concludes in Cusco at 5 pm, returning to the meeting point.
