Explore the famous 'Route of the Sun' from Puno to Cusco visiting amazing places in the south of Peru such as Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, and Pukara.

Description

Experience the Ruta del Sol through southern Peru. We will meet at Avenida Costanera with Jr. Lampa and depart for Pukara.

The journey begins at the Pukara interpretation center, home of the Pukara bulls, symbols of protection, prosperity, and fertility.

Next, we will stop briefly at the La Raya pass for photos. This pass is over 4300 meters above sea level.

Afterward, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant. We will then visit the archaeological site of Raqchi, where we will view the remains of the ancient temple dedicated to the God Wiracocha.

Following the tour at Raqchi, we will head to Andahuaylillas to visit the church of San Pedro Apóstol, known as the "Sistine Chapel of America."

The tour concludes in Cusco, arriving at approximately 5 pm at the meeting point.
