Titicaca Lake & Isla del Sol Catamaran Tour

After hotel pickup in Puno, we will head south to cross the border into Bolivia to reach Copacabana. Before departing for Isla del Sol, we will visit the Copacabana Sanctuary. At the port, we will board a catamaran to take us across Lake Titicaca to Isla del Sol. A snack will be provided onboard during the trip.

We will arrive at Yumani on the southern tip of Isla del Sol to explore the area known as the birthplace of the gods. This includes archaeological remains such as the Inca Garden and a climb up the Inca Staircase to the Sacred Fountain, considered by locals as "the fountain of youth" for its healing properties.

Next, we will visit the Inti Wata Complex, which includes the Ekako underground museum, centers for Traditional Medicine and Totora Raft Construction, a handicraft center, the Intica shelter, and a Botanical Garden of Inca agriculture.

After exploring, we will return to Yumani to board the catamaran back to Copacabana, where a buffet lunch will be served, featuring quinoa soup, salads, trout or chicken, with rice, potatoes, or banana, along with dessert. We will return to Puno after approximately 11 hours.

Tour Ending in La Paz

For those who book the option, the tour can finish in La Paz. In this case, we will take a bus from Copacabana to La Paz, arriving around 7 pm.
