Sail across the waters of Lake Titicaca and discover local traditions on the floating Uros Islands and Taquile Island.

Tour Details

We will pick you up from your hotel at the designated time and head to the port in Puno. You will board a speedboat on Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake, located at 12,500 feet (3,810 meters) above sea level.

The first stop will be the famous floating Uros Islands. We will disembark to meet the Uru people, who will share insights about their ancestors' pre-Inca culture and the artificial islands made from a plant called Totora.

Next, we will continue to Taquile Island, enjoying views of the lake and mountains. Upon arrival, we will explore local culture and the weaving techniques used by the islanders for their famous textiles.

A traditional lunch (optional) will be provided before concluding the tour and returning to your hotel in Puno after a total of 8 hours.
