Tour Overview

Day 1: Puno - Uros Islands

Your journey will begin with a pickup from your hotel in Puno at the arranged time, followed by transportation to the port where a traditional vessel awaits. Prepare for a captivating one-hour exploration on Lake Titicaca, where stunning views are sure to captivate you!

After this exhilarating ride, we will reach the Uros floating islands, constructed from totora reeds, the same material used for their boats. A detailed introduction to these unique islands will enhance your visit as we settle into our overnight accommodation. Following a delicious lunch, enjoy a brief rest before embarking on a nearly two-hour guided tour through this intriguing archipelago.

During our exploration, you'll be immersed in the daily lives of the Uros people as they engage in activities such as weaving and fishing. As evening descends, prepare to witness a breathtaking sunset. After dinner, we will gather around a bonfire to gaze at the stars, creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Note: The bonfire will only occur under suitable weather conditions.

Day 2: Uros Islands - Puno

On the second day, after enjoying breakfast, you will have some leisure time to take in the stunning views, explore the island, or purchase local crafts. Later, we will board a boat to return to Puno.

Your excursion will conclude at 12 PM, with drop-off at your hotel.

Hotel Pickup

The tour includes pickup from accommodations situated in central Puno. If your hotel is located outside the city center, please head to Irón Arequipa Street, which is in close proximity to the Plaza de Armas.

Be aware that pickup is unavailable from the following locations: GHL Lago Titicaca, Casa Andina Premium, Sonesta Posada, Lake Titikaka Hotel-Xima, Pacha Confort, Mirador del Titikaka, Hotel Wisny, Jose Antonio Hotel, Taypikala Hotel, Pumakala Hotel, Atoja Chucuito Hotel, and any accommodations located on the Uros Islands.

Accommodation Details

When booking, you'll have the option to select from two accommodation types. In both cases, you will reside in a local home on the Uros Islands. Below are the distinctions of each option:

Economy class: shared room and bathroom facilities with other guests.Superior class: private room complete with an en-suite bathroom and a scenic view of the lake.
