Tour Details

If you go to Puno, it's probably to visit the famous Lake Titicaca; the world's highest navigable lake. This tour offers an opportunity to see the lake and its unique floating islands.

The tour begins with hotel pickup in central Puno, followed by a trip to the port. You will board a boat and sail on the lake for approximately one hour. Sixty percent of the lake is in Peru, while forty percent is in Bolivia, providing stunning views.

Upon arrival at the floating islands, constructed by the Uru people from layers of cut totora reed, you will learn about their construction and the traditional lifestyle of the Uru people. After exploring the islands, you will return to the port of Puno and then to your hotel.
