Tour Details
This tour allows you to experience Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake. You will be picked up from your hotel in Puno and taken to the port, where you will board a boat and sail on the lake for approximately one hour. The lake is divided between Peru (60%) and Bolivia (40%), offering stunning views.
Upon arrival at the floating islands, which are constructed by the Uru people using cut totora reeds, you will learn about their creation and the traditional lifestyle of the Uru community. Following this exploration, you will return to the port of Puno and be taken back to your hotel.
Hotel Pickup
The tour includes pickup from central Puno hotels. For accommodations on the outskirts, you should arrive at 6 am at Jiron Arequipa 666, corner of Arequipa and Puno.
